The NoHo area has seen prices appreciate nearly 200% in the last 5 years and the median price in the last quarter according to real estate site Trulia hit nearly $5mm. NoHo has become one of the most artsy, historic and wealthy neighborhoods in Manhattan.
This appreciation and rapid rise in the small nabe begun largely with the Ian Schrager development 40 Bond street, home to 26 units spread out over 11 floors. Currently, there are 4 units for sale from just under $4mm to $8mm with the average around $3k per square foot.
